2017 Holiday Haul

Decorating for the Holidays hasn't been so exciting for me in the last few years mainly because I absolutely hated our family room. We remodeled it last year and I am in the spirit to decorate!!
In the past years I have used so many different colors in decorating for Christmas...turquoise to name a few...who does that? LOL! ( if you decorate in turquoise, it is probably beautiful in your home, just not mine) So, we pulled out ALL of the past years decorations in the middle of the floor and separated them by colors to see if there was anything I wanted to reuse or keep. We made 3 separate piles of things we were getting rid of and listed them locally for sale!

Then it was off to shopping. I decided to go with a champagne color this year. Its elegant and it's neutral so I can add any color to it as I see fit in the years to come. Hopefully, no more turquoise!
